Meyer Corporation’s Circulon brand has released the Circulon Halo with LaserDefense Cookware, which the company describes as PFAS-free ceramic nonstick designed to stand up to everyday use, high heat, burnt-on food, metal utensil scraping and more.
Circulon Halo is engineered to address common complaints about ceramic cookware, including: lack of nonstick ceramic durability; reduced food-release capability that leads to sticking; increased staining over time; chipping and deterioration of the ceramic coating; and the need to replace ceramic nonstick pans frequently, the company said.
The cookware is made without PFAS, BPA, lead or cadmium and is Circulon’s first-ever ceramic nonstick collection, according to Meyer. The LaserDefense nonstick technology features a heat-conductive aluminum core laser-etched with Circulon’s signature circular pattern of raised microscopic dots to strengthen its ceramic nonstick surface. Each small dot is composed of tiny concentric circles, forming a protective, textured barrier. This elevates utensils slightly above the surface of the pan to defend against staining, scraping and abrasions for more durability and effortless food release.
Constructed from heavy-gauge aluminum to ensure fast and even heating without hot spots, Circulon Halo also features flush-coated rivets for easy stirring and simplified cleaning, along with silicone-rimmed and vented tempered glass lids that release excess steam and lock in flavor. The stainless steel handles are ergonomically designed for a secure, comfortable grip and are designed to complement the cookware’s monotone coloring inside and out in two options: Pearl White and Sage Green.
It is suitable for all cooktops, including induction, is oven-safe up to 500°F (350°F for lids), and is dishwasher-safe.
