The Chef’n Peel ‘N Grate Ginger Peeler and Grater makes what can be a tough task less taxing.
The new product, announced in time for The Inspired Home Show at Chicago’s McCormick Place, makes it easy to peel and grate fresh ginger quickly, Chef’n noted. The ergonomic shape fits comfortably in the user’s hand. The peeler’s pointed end reaches into ginger’s nooks and crannies even with small pieces.
The round holes help quickly grate fresh ginger without clogging. Consumers snap the metal peeler into the underside of the grater to collect ginger as it grates or lift the rubber edge and separates the grater and peeler to collect the processed ginger at the tool’s back. You can also grate ginger directly onto food.
Both pieces are top-rack dishwasher safe, according to Chef’n.
