Blueair launched ts Blue Pure Max line of air purifiers featuring what the company said is enhanced performance, minimal noise, a refreshed design and new smart features through the Blueair app.

“The Blueair Blue Pure Max line was thoughtfully designed to be fast, quiet, and simply smart, a feat accomplished by the merging form and function,” said Henk in ’t Hof, CEO of Blueair.

Blueair’s HEPASilent technology combines electrostatic and mechanical filtration to capture at least 99.97% of airborne particles down to 0.1 microns in size, according to Blueair. It is designed to capture tiny particles, such as viruses and bacteria, along with larger particles, such as dust, pollen, pet dander and smoke.

Key features and upgrades include:

  • Maximum Filtration, Minimum Noise: Performance is enhanced in Blue Pure Max models through a redesign of the hole patterns to improve the airflow for even faster cleaning, said Blueair. Blue Pure Max models offer a higher Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) with the ability to filter out more smoke, dust, and pollen in cubic feet per minute than its predecessor. They are equipped with a built-in noise shield, meaning the air purifiers can clean at the highest fan speed with lower noise for uninterrupted days and nights.
  • Swedish Design for Any Home Aesthetic: The tapered shape appears tall and sleek, and the new shades of fabric pre-filters are warm and muted to seamlessly blend into any home’s style, said the company. The air purifier arrives with one Stockholm Fog pre-filter. Additional pre-filters in the colors Limestone, Moss and Sand are sold separately. The new pre-filters are made of a technical knitted fabric, which is designed for improved airflow for faster purification. The pre-filter can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner and in a washing machine.
  • Simply SmartVia the Blueair app, consumers can access air quality data and features. It allows users to select the preferred mode, set a schedule, use child lock features and more.  When air quality deteriorates, the Clean Air ETA function shares the estimated minutes until the air in the room will be clean. While at home,  consumers can use voice control with Amazon Alexa for hands-free convenience to adjust fan speed and mode. For those who travel often, the Welcome Home feature sets the air purifier on standby when the user leaves and turns the air purifier on as they approach home. In addition, users can also now view the exact filter usage percentage and pollution level through Blueair’s proprietary filter RealTrack algorithm.
  • Set It and Forget It: Blueair’s Auto mode will adjust the fan speed automatically based on real-time pollution levels.

Blueair Blue Pure Max air purifiers will be available on Amazon and Blueair.com later this month with other select retailers to follow.
