NRF Big Show Going Live with Vaccination Proof Requirement

The National Retail Federation will launch its Big Show convention as an in-person event from January 16 to 18, 2022, with safety measures in effect that reflect New York City COVID-19 pandemic responses.

NRF 2022: Retail’s Big Show will be back in New York’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center with 30,000 retailers, vendors and industry experts expected to attend.  as the world’s largest in-person retail conference and expo, the organization stated.

Safety measures will guide how 2022 operates. NRF is requiring each attendee to provide valid proof of vaccination during on-site check-in, registration or as otherwise directed by the organization. Valid proof of being fully vaccinated must be shown including the individual’s full name and vaccination date or dates in the case of two-dose vaccines. NRF will accept a copy or photograph of the original Vaccination Record Card. NRF stated that it would assess other possible options for providing and transmitting valid proof of vaccination and provide more details in future weeks.
