The International Housewares Association (IHA) is presenting a third webinar to provide members and retailers with information and insights to help navigate tariffs.
The webinar will be held on May 14 from 1 to 2 p.m.
In March, IHA held its initial webinar update on tariffs featuring Craig Brightup and Rafe Morrisey of the association’s Washington D.C.-based government affairs office, and customs specialists Taylor Cloud and Will Mock of freight logistics service provider, TQL Global. The panel came together again in April for a follow-up webinar to answer key questions from IHA members and retailers on the latest tariff developments.
The third webinar will feature business advisor and housewares industry veteran Luke Peters walking through strategies importers are using right now to reduce tariff exposure and protect margins. IHA stated attendees will learn how the First Sale Rule can slash duty costs, when unbundling makes sense (and when it doesn’t), why DDP might be the fastest savings lever and what buyers are doing now to survive 100%+ tariff rates.
