The Cookware & Bakeware Alliance (CBA) confirmed its new board leadership during its 104th Annual Spring Meeting in May.
Chris Bauman of Le Creuset was named CBA board president, and Nancy McHebnry of Widgeteer was named board vice president.
Other confirmed CBA board members are Mars Mashburn of Tramontina; Mike Maguire of ILAG Coatings; Phil Barberi, Meyer Corporation US, Kevin Messner, Group SEB and Kurt Mecray, PPG.
The CBA Spring Meeting coincided with the release of the organization’s updated Engineering Standards for Cookware and Bakeware. A major addition in this edition is a new 32-page chapter dedicated to nonstick coatings, according to CBA. The 2026 Engineering Standards are included in CBA membership and are available for purchase to non-members at cookwareandbakeware.org/engineering-standards/.
The CBA has scheduled two key upcoming events for its membership: the free CBA Summer 2026 Webinar: Committees in Action, July 15; and the CBA Annual Fall Meeting, October 1-2 at the Sheraton Suites O’Hare near Chicago. Details on registration and programming will be announced in the coming weeks, according to CBA.
