Drinkmate, a manufacturer and marketer of countertop beverage carbonators, is introducing what the company describes as the first-of-its-kind portable, hand-held carbonator at The Inspired Home Show.
The new Drinkmate Spritzer (pictured above) offers the same multi-beverage carbonating function of the company’s original OmniFizz countertop units in a convenient, hand-held design, according to Douglas Wand, Drinkmate founder and CEO. The new model enables on-the-go carbonation through its patented Fizz Infuser technology, which uses replaceable, returnable and refillable CO2 cartridges to carbonate a wide range of beverages, including water, juice, tea, flat soda, energy drinks, beers, cocktails and wine.
With the simple pull of a trigger, the Spritzer allows users to be creative with their carbonated beverage making while controlling ingredients and the amount of fizziness at a considerable cost savings compared to store-bought carbonated drinks, Wang said. He also stressed the environmental benefits of reduced glass and plastic bottle waste by using the company’s beverage carbonators.
Drinkmate is positioning the Spritzer as a model capable of opening additional channels of distribution for the company, including sporting goods and outdoor recreation retailers. The Spritzer, with a suggested retail of $79.99, comes with two 3-ounce CO2 bottles and a 0.5L reusable bottle for carbonating up to 40 half-liters of beverage. The portable unit also is compatible with a countertop stand (sold separately).
Drinkmate Lux
Drinkmate, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2024, is showcasing its new stainless steel Drinkmate Lux model of its original countertop beverage carbonator. The company offers the new stainless steel model, with a $239 suggested retail price, as a competitively priced option in the category for upscale brick-and-mortar retailers, including gourmet and specialty stores.
Drinkmate is also featuring its line of Italian-produced syrups in 8 flavors. Each 500-milliliter bottle retails for $14.99.
