Perigold, Wayfair’s upmarket, interior designer-friendly banner, has opened its first brick-and-mortar location in Houston.
The 20,000 square foot Perigold store operates in one of Houston’s premier shopping districts, Highland Village, the banner stated. At almost 20,000 square feet, the location brings Perigold’s curated selection of designer furniture, décor and lighting into a refined physical package for the first time, it added.
The Perigold store mounts immersive vignettes curated by well-known designers. It offers full-service support from its own in-house interior designers, dedicated meeting areas for design professionals and a welcoming patio built for community gatherings and private client sessions. Wayfair stocks most items featured in the store locally, so they are available for delivery within one week of purchase throughout the Houston area, ensuring an easy and efficient shopping experience.
According to Perigold, the store debut marks a significant evolution for the brand as it extends from digital roots to bring online designer and brand shops to life. The new store offers features not available online, such as exclusive local events, design workshops and personalized service catering to both design enthusiasts and trade professionals. Flexible collaboration spaces and concierge-level support position the Perigold store to emerge as a central destination for Houston’s design community, the banner noted.
“Opening our first physical store is a transformative step for Perigold, and there’s no better city to begin this journey in than Houston,” said Rebecca Ginns, global head of Perigold, in announcing the store opening. “This is a market where design is celebrated and our customers are deeply engaged. We’re excited to create a space that reflects our commitment to excellence in both product and experience.”
