Posted In: Retail Articles

To help customers enjoy their summers and prepare for the annual return to the classroom, Target Corp. has introduced a range of new products, including more than 10,000 items across home, apparel, beauty, personal care, and food and beverage categories, with prices starting at $1.

Products include water and outdoor toys priced at $10, as well as new and trendy water bottles, including two fresh Nalgene styles with narrow and wide mouths, plus the all-new Owala FreeSip Twist.

Among the new home-related product launches from Target is a summer collection from own brand, Threshold, featuring mix-and-match dinnerware, the company noted, as well as nature-inspired serving pieces, including a figural crab serving platter, fish-shaped salad serving utensils, and a rattan-woven fish basket.

Target is celebrating five years of Threshold collaboration with designer Studio McGee by introducing new products that incorporate twists and wovens, as well as colors such as deep merlot red, which work well in the summer and transition seamlessly to fall.

A new collection under Target’s exclusive Hearth & Hand with Magnolia brand focuses on outdoor entertaining with games, lighting and outdoor dining items, most under $20.

Other new items include “foodie decor” in Target’s Room Essentials line up, one that consists of a burger throw pillow, butter and corn salt and pepper shaker set, a hot dog candle and other items priced under $10, the company indicated. In addition, Featherly Friends figurines are back at Target with new styles, including a hot dog and an ice cream cone. Then, Target is introducing a Shark Beach Towel and Lobster Beach Towel to make days at the shore and poolside more fun.

For class returnees, the company maintains that Target is offering last year’s prices on must-have supplies and providing more ways for consumers to make the most of their budgets. The company has also developed 2025 teacher and college wish lists, allowing those who sign up to share and track what they need for the upcoming school year.

Additionally, Target is highlighting fresh college dorm decor, including a $40 puffer comforter. Indeed, on the target.com landing page, the company has a Dream Dorm banner that includes category links to Bedding, Decor, Storage and Kitchen & Dining. Dream Dorm landing page deals include 50% off Sterilite storage. At the same time, New Arrivals incorporates everything from a $5 Noodle Bowl with Chopsticks to a $100 Metal Framed Sling Dorm Chair, both under Target’s Room Essentials banner. The Dream Dorm web presentation also features deals such as a Nespresso Limited-Edition Vertuo Pop+ Coffee and Espresso Maker Flavored Iced Bundle, priced at $109.99 (down from $195.99), and a Bissell Featherweight Lightweight Stick Vacuum, 2033M, priced at $29.98 (down from $33.99).

Among the company’s back-to-school initiatives, college students  enjoy a one-time 20% off storewide discount with Target Circle free membership through September 27. Verified teachers can take advantage of a one-time 20% off storewide discount with Target Circle from July 20 to August 30. Also, through September 13, teachers and students can join Target Circle 360, Target’s paid membership program, and save 50% on a one-year membership that gives shoppers access to benefits such as unlimited same-day delivery on orders over $35, exclusive early access to shop sales and brand collaborations, a selection of free gifts and exclusive discounts to choose from each month, and access to same-day, no markup delivery from subsidiary Shipt’s 100-plus grocers and specialty retailers.
