Prime Day may get a lot of attention, but Sam’s Club is weighing in for the summer promotions season with its own deals for members, with a focus on helping them enjoy the season despite the worrisome economic and tariff environment.
In a blog post, Diana Marshall, Sam’s Club executive vice president and chief experience officer, said executives at Walmart’s warehouse club division had listened to the feedback from members and understood that they want to spend summer making memories. To help them do that, Sam’s Club is locking in the value on more than 1,000 summer favorites through July 22. The initiative includes everything from grilling gear and coolers to pool floats and fresh-cut fruit trays.
Even before Prime Day launches on July 8, Sam’s Club already is touting savings and linking to the Fourth of July holiday, with featured deals under a Kitchen & Small Appliances – 4th of July Savings designation that include an array of bargains including $100 of a Dyson V8 Origin Extra Cordless Stick Vacuum, $20 off a NutriBullet Pro 900W Blender and $15 off a KitchenAid Hard Anodized Ceramic Nonstick 2-Piece Fry Pan Set.
Then, on the 23rd of the month, Sam’s Club will launch its July Instant Savings Event, bringing even more deals on popular summer picks and back-to-school essentials.
Marshall made a particular point about grilling. Sam’s Club addresses the range of grilling needs, whether it’s a hankering for premium barbecue entrees, which consumers can satisfy with Sam’s Club private label Member’s Mark meats and flavorful rubs, or the means to prepare them, as with Traeger grills. She also made reference to how Sam’s Club can help members enjoy the water, pool or beach, with water toys, folding chairs, pool floats and sunscreen, all selected for value and quality.
