The expansion continues for Rural King with a debut in Rome, GA, the latest in a string of store openings that include the company’s first locations in Maryland, South Carolina and Mississippi.
Rural King set the Rome grand opening, the chain’s first in northwest Georgia, for Friday, March 27, with special offers planned throughout the store. The company will automatically enroll new customers who enroll in its RK Rewards loyalty program during the grand opening weekend in a sweepstakes awarding four $500 Rural King gift cards.
In November of last year, Rural King opened its first Maryland store in the town of Cumberland. In the month earlier, the company debuted its first South Carolina store in the Spartanburg community. In September, Rural King cut a ribbon at its first Mississippi store in Columbus, as well as its 15th Kentucky store in Somerset.
The Rome store was the company’s third in Georgia overall.
In announcing the last in the company’s opening run, Rural King COO Michael Ladd said, “Northwest Georgia has a strong agricultural heritage and a deep sense of community that aligns with who we are. We are proud to invest in Rome and provide a dependable source for the products our customers rely on every day.”
