Williams-Sonoma, Inc. announced Pottery Barn Brands CEO Marta Benson will retire effective April 26, after which her responsibilities will be shared by the two current Pottery Barn presidents: Monica Bhargava of Pottery Barn and Jennifer Kellor of Pottery Barn Kids and Pottery Barn Teen.
Williams-Sonoma pointed out that Bhargava and Kellor have a combined 50 years of service to the company.
“Marta’s contributions to our company have led to the launch of Mark & Graham, the acquisition of Rejuvenation and the transformation of Pottery Barn,” Williams-Sonoma President and CEO Laura Alber stated. “We are grateful for her leadership and the legacy she leaves behind having been a champion for advancing our company’s commitment to sustainability.”
