Lowe’s is looking to enhance its online marketplace by partnering with e-commerce technology provider Mirakl to bring the home improvement retailer’s shoppers more choice, convenience and value.
Lowe’s is working with the technology provider to give consumers more options on the company’s marketplace, launched in December 2024. The partnership with Mirakl will enable Lowe’s to scale its e-commerce business faster while allowing trusted marketplace sellers to easily manage their catalogs on the platform, the retailer stated.
Since its marketplace introduction, Lowe’s has expanded the company’s offerings from third-party sellers across categories, including kitchen and bath, indoor and outdoor furniture, home décor, power and hand tools. The expanded marketplace will offer shoppers more options beyond Lowe’s current product assortment available in store and online, the company indicated, catering to the needs of consumer and professional customers. In addition to more product choice, the marketplace expansion will give shoppers additional options across the price spectrum from value to premium, Lowe’s said.
“Our partnership with Mirakl allows Lowe’s Marketplace to offer a full complement of products to homeowners for every project around the home, driving our ‘Total Home Strategy’ forward,” said Lowe’s Chief Digital and Information Officer Seemantini Godbole.
Lowe’s Vice President of Marketplace, Michael McCluskey, added, “Lowe’s marketplace extends our aisle to better meet the needs of our customers, bringing them more of the products they want from brands they trust. Mirakl is a proven leader in online retail marketplaces and joining forces with their team furthers our commitment to creating a robust marketplace, with thousands of items that help home improvement customers find everything they need to make the house of their dreams.”
