As part of a five-store expansion plan, Lowe’s is debuting a location in Port St. Lucie, FL, in June to deliver a simpler, faster and more inspiring shopping experience for Pro and DIY customers, including those interested in easy home refreshes.
The new Port St. Lucie store offers 94,000 square feet of retail space, including a designated KitchenAid space (pictured above), and a 30,000-square-foot garden center and will be Lowe’s second operating in the fast-growing community, Lowe’s maintained.
When it opens, the new store will be the first of five new Lowe’s locations debuting in the United States this year. A Lowe’s spokesperson said that the company already has set plans for additional openings in Kaufman, West Katy and Willis, TX, and Walton, KY, later this fiscal year to advance its total home strategy in rapidly growing markets. As Lowe’s seeks to better engage customers, the new stores are introducing upgraded showrooms that will become a standard for all new Lowe’s stores. In addition, Lowe’s is also applying the new standard as it upgrades a limited number of existing stores in 2026.
When the Port St. Lucie store opens, according to Lowe’s, consumers will get a first look at key features that include:
- More attainable luxury appliances and kitchen products to support home remodels
- Centralized selling desks for installation and services projects, with digital signage to showcase promotional offerings
- Larger, more interactive product displays, including vignettes reflecting areas across the home
- New countertop merchandising with larger slabs so shoppers can better appreciate unique veining and variation
- Signage and QR codes that give customers easy access to online offerings, plus links to a style quiz, budget calculator and 3D visualizer
The new stores will also incorporate self-service paint kiosks for streamlined ordering, as well as buy online, pick up in-store zones for quick and easy pickup.
