Kohl’s announced the appointment of former Tuesday Morning CEO Fred Hand to the position of senior executive vice president, director of stores.

Hand reports to Kohl’s President and COO Dave Alves and becomes part of the retailer’s senior executive leadership team, the company noted. Hand will support the company’s strategic focus on driving store sales and productivity as a component of the overall omnichannel business. He will supervise store operations and experience, loss prevention, and store experience and design functions, Kohl’s stated.

Hand was CEO of Tuesday Morning from May 2021 to November 2022.  His retail experience includes stints at Burlington, Macy’s and Filene’s.

“Fred has a deep appreciation and passion for the power that brick-and-mortar retail plays in an omnichannel business model,” Alves said. “He is committed to serving customers by empowering stores and associates and we are excited to welcome him to the Kohl’s team.”
