Kohl’s Corp has launched the Deal Bar, a program designed to establish a space in the everyday necessities segment with items, including housewares, priced at $10 or less.
With merchandising in display cartons prominent, Kohl’s characterized the Deal Bar as a fresh, curated, one-stop destination for on-trend gifts, seasonal finds and everyday essentials.
Kohl’s has placed its Deal Bar displays at the front of its stores, where shoppers can check out fun, practical and timely items refreshed throughout the year, the company noted. Current products available in the Deal Bar include party supplies, serving dishes, decorative candles, craft projects, vases and festive decor, meal prep dishes, silverware, shakers, jump ropes and yoga blocks.
Kohl described Deal Bar merchandise under several themes:
- Getting Organized. Purposeful options and home replenishments to keep households going smoothly, along with stationery and office-inspired gadgets to make life easier.
- Kids’ Activities. Cute finds such as sticker books, window clings and DIY craft kits.
- Seasonal Selections. Products tied to specific moments, such as bug catchers for summer, party favors for the Fourth of July, Easter basket fillers, Valentine’s Day goodies, or serving essentials and decor for the big game.
- Appreciation Gifts. Affordable items for occasions such as those celebrating teachers or nurses.
Kohl’s also is offering a Deal Bar presentation on its website, currently including the Easter-themed Bunny Cutting Board, a 4-Compartment Food Storage Container and a Melamine Football Dip Tray.
