Home Depot Makes Major Executive Suite Changes

Posted In: Retail Articles

In two significant executive moves, Home Depot named Ann-Marie Campbell senior executive vp, and Hector Padilla executive vp of U.S. stores and operations.

In her new role, Campbell will assume responsibility for outside pro sales efforts as well as the company’s installation services business. She will continue to oversee stores and operations in the U.S., The Home Depot Canada and The Home Depot Mexico business units, Home Depot noted. Campbell has served as executive vp of U.S. stores and international operations since 2020.

Padilla will lead Home Depot’s three U.S. operating divisions comprising more than 2,000 stores across the United States. Before his latest appointment, he was executive vp of outside sales and service, where he led the company’s pro and installation services units, the company stated.

The executive moves continue Home Depot’s advance of the business’s professional side as it balances operations between the do-it-yourself and pro-customer bases.

“Pro is our biggest growth opportunity, and in order to provide the products and capabilities pros need, we are evolving our organization and approach to better serve them,” said Ted Decker, chair, Home Depot president and CEO, in announcing the exec moves. “Ann-Marie and Hector are incredible leaders who understand the unique requirements of the pro, as well as the dynamic operating environment across stores. I’m confident their focus on our customers, dedication to our associates and passion for our culture will help us capture the enormous opportunity ahead.”
