Family Dollar Recalls Product From Infested Distribution Center

Family Dollar has initiated a voluntary retail level product recall of certain products regulated by the United States Food and Drug Administration that were stored and shipped to 404 stores from Family Dollar Distribution Center 202 in West Memphis, AK from January 1, 2021 through the present.

The recall comes as a rodents and rodent infestation at Family Dollar Distribution Center 202 that made national news.

To date, Family Dollar, a subsidiary of Dollar Tree, is not aware of any consumer complaints or reports of illness related to this recall, the company stated.

Products covered by this retail level recall include all drugs, medical devices, cosmetics,  dietary supplements and human and animal food products stored at the DC. The recall does not apply to products shipped directly to the stores from the distributor or manufacturer, such as all frozen and refrigerated items. The recall covers 404 stores in Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee.
