Dollar Tree has announced a pair of executive leadership additions.
John Flanigan has joined Dollar Tree as chief supply chain officer, and Larry Gatta has joined as chief merchandising officer for the Family Dollar banner, the company stated.
Flanigan most recently Dollar General executive vp, global supply chain through April 2016. Gatta most recently was senior vp and general merchandise manager for consumables at Dollar General.
“Driving supply chain efficiencies and improving the operating performance of our Family Dollar banner are important elements to long-term value creation for our shareholders,” said Michael Witynski, Dollar Tree president and CEO, in announcing the executive moves. “I am pleased to announce the recent additions of proven retail leaders John Flanigan and Larry Gatta to our organization.”
