BJ’s Wholesale Club is opening three new locations in mid December just in time to catch the 2025 holiday shopping season.
The stores will debut in Springfield, MA, and Sumter, SC, on December 12; and Casselberry, FL, on December 17, the company noted.
The timing gives BJ’s the chance to pitch consumers on deals and memberships while the holiday shopping season still is in full swing. The three locations already operate on-site BJ’s Gas stations in a preview designed to generate interest among local consumers.
According to the company, the Casselberry store is number 42 in Florida, while the Springfield store is number 26 in Massachusetts, BJ’s home state, and the Sumter store is number three in South Carolina.
“BJ’s continues to grow in communities where unbeatable value resonates,” said Bill Werner, BJ’s executive vice president, strategy and development. “We’ll bring savings of up to 25% off grocery store prices every day, and we look forward to taking care of the families who depend on us.”
BJ’s currently operates 257 club stores and 194 BJ’s gas locations in 21 of the United States.
