HomePage News to Deliver Special Print Editions in 2022

As we turn the page to what should be an eventful season of giving thanks and celebrating togetherness, I’d like to thank the home and housewares business for coming together to help to make HomePage News, launched just four months ago, the go-to resource for industry news and analysis.

More than 600 editorial entries already have been posted to HomePageNews.com, encompassing in-depth retail analysis, exclusive trend insights, breaking industry news, new product and marketing coverage, trade show and association initiatives and more.

This marks just the beginning of the development of HomePage News into a multi-dimensional, wide-reaching media brand for today’s fast-evolving home and housewares business.

Serving growing demand for an informative, visually engaging and accessible digital industry news platform was a driving objective when the International Housewares Association first conceived the plan to launch HomePage News earlier this year. And with access to the IHA’s expansive database of home and housewares retailing and industry decision-makers, no B2B media outlet covering this business comes close to the influential reach of HomePage News.

The launch of HomePageNews.com is only the first leg of this upstart editorial journey. The industry has helped encourage the next leg by asking for HomePage News to fill a need for informative, strategy-guiding print resources.

With that, I’m excited to announce HomePage News will launch several special print editions in 2022.

First up will be HomePage News Outlook 2022, the debut of what will become an annual research reference presenting results and expert analysis of an exclusive nationwide consumer survey examining key consumer purchase considerations across a wide spectrum of home and housewares categories. The pandemic has defined a breakthrough consumer-centric era with the home at the center of new needs, behavior and activities. HomePage News Outlook 2022, to be released in February 2022 just ahead of The Inspired Home Show 2022 in Chicago, will reveal, data-backed insights on shifting consumer lifestyle and shopping priorities to help guide merchandising and promotional strategies for the coming year.

HomePage News also will publish the official print daily news publications for The Inspired Home Show 2022. HomePage News Show Dailies will spotlight comprehensive new product coverage; in-depth show trend features; executive interviews; and previews of special exhibits, events and educational programs during the show. These special editions will be distributed at McCormick Place and room-to-room at key show hotels during the first three days of the four-day show scheduled for March 5-8.

Exciting print publishing developments for HomePage News won’t put a pause on pause digital content advancement.

In the coming weeks, HomePageNews.com, in conjunction with IHA, will publish results and analysis of an exclusive consumer survey gauging the renewal of celebrated life occasions impacted by the pandemic and how it will influence home and housewares purchase opportunities.

The website also ramping up its video content. New, exclusive HomePage News video programming developed to provide business insights and direction include “Rapid Fire with NPD” featuring Joe Derochowski, home industry advisor for The NPD Group; and “Truth on Trend” and “Color Cues”, a pair of series featuring HomePage News and IHA Trend Analyst Tom Mirabile, founder of Springboard Futures.

The HomePage News Daily Digest, meanwhile, is the highest-frequency e-newsletter informing the home and housewares business, distributed each business day to thousands of retailing and industry decision-makers.

The HomePage News team is proud of what we’ve delivered in just four months thanks to enthusiastic support from the home and housewares industry. And we are excited about what is to come as this business turns the page — the HomePage, that is— to what should be quite an eventful and newsworthy 2022.
