The Fiesta Tableware Company recently unveiled Fiesta Dinnerware’s 2022 color: Peony, described as a soft shade of blush. The new hue is the 54th color since the brand was introduced in 1936.
“Peony is coming at just the right time for our 2022 color,” said Rich Brinkman, vice president, sales and marketing, The Fiesta Tableware Company. “The shade is optimistic, pleasant and comforting. Coming on the heels of our anniversary, Peony takes our colors in a new direction where we can explore our softer side.”
In addition to the new color, Fiesta Dinnerware has rolled out several new designs and redesigns, including the new Pedestal Cake Plate. According to the brand, the cake plate stands at 12 ½-inch in diameter and sits on a dramatic pedestal. It has Art Deco detailed styling and is available to retailers in limited colors: Peony, Scarlet, Turquoise, White, Lapis, Meadow, and Sunflower.
Redesigns included an update to the iconic Fiesta Teapot. According to the company, 44-ounce pot’s spout was re-engineered to reduce drips when pouring and the handle was redesigned for a comfortable pour. The lid also was redesigned to fit more securely on top of the pot and will be available in all Fiesta colors.
Fiesta’s Canisters and Utensil Crock also received an upgrade. Each piece has three-dimensional chevron detailing around the entire perimeter with a footed base. The canisters are available in small (1 quart); medium (2 quart) and large (3 quarts), while the Utensil Crock holds two quarts. They are available in the following colors: Peony, Scarlet, Poppy, Butterscotch, Daffodil, Sunflower, Lemongrass, Meadow, Turquoise, Lapis, Twilight, and White.
Because the canisters are also used as the bases of the Fiesta Dog and Cat Treat Jars, those have also been updated. The Dog Treat Jar, using a Medium Canister base, holds two quarts and the Cat Treat Jar, using a Small Canister base, holds one quart. Both are available in the following colors: Daffodil, Scarlet, Lapis, Turquoise, and Poppy.
A new foot was added to Fiesta’s 90-ounce Large Covered Casserole. It is made in the following colors: Peony, Scarlet, Poppy, Butterscotch, Daffodil, Sunflower, Lemongrass, Meadow, Turquoise, Lapis, Twilight, and White.
