SharkNinja is bringing a more design-focused approach to floor care with the launch of the Shark Home Luxe Collection, a cross-category color program that introduces new finishes for two of Shark’s cleaning systems.
The collection reflects growing consumer interest in products that complement home interiors rather than being hidden away, according to SharkNinja. In a SharkNinja-commissioned survey of 1,000 U.S. consumers, 55% said color influences the emotional appeal of their homes, while only 12% believe appliance brands get color right.
“For years, this category has been focused almost entirely on function,” said François Nguyen, chief design and experience officer at SharkNinja. “We saw an opportunity to rethink that. Performance remains the foundation, but we believe the products people use every day should also feel considered from a design perspective.”
Interior designer and television personality Jeremiah Brent, who partnered with Shark on the launch, said the collection reflects a broader shift in how consumers view products used throughout the home.
“For so long, products in this category were designed to be hidden, when the reality is they live alongside us every day,” Brent said. “The Luxe Collection approaches cleaning products with the same level of intention we bring to furniture, lighting and accessories. The colors feel sophisticated, the finishes elevated and the collection integrates into the home in a way that feels thoughtful rather than disruptive.”
The collection includes the Shark PowerDetect UV Reveal 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop, which uses UV light detection to identify and clean hidden messes, including dried spills, pet accidents and residue. The system vacuums and mops while adapting to floors and debris in real time, and it includes a self-emptying base and automated mop cleaning.
The Shark PowerDetect Speed is a 7-pound cordless vacuum equipped with PowerDetect Intelligence technology that automatically adjusts to dirt levels, floor type and cleaning direction. The vacuum offers up to 60 minutes of runtime and includes a hands-free auto-empty base that can hold debris for up to 45 days.
The Shark PowerDetect UV Reveal is available in Espresso, Evergreen, Deep Harbor and Ivory with retail pricing starting at $1,299. The Shark PowerDetect Speed is available in Walnut, Oatstone, Sagewood, and Harbor Slate, with retail pricing starting at $499.99.
