When table or countertop space is limited, setting aside a loose lid from a traditional food container can be inconvenient. Object Corp. developed the Tap Up Box to address that challenge with a design that allows one-handed opening while keeping the lid attached to the container.
The Tap Up Box is designed for situations where space and flexibility matter, from managing multiple containers during meal prep to packing picnics or grabbing a bite in the car. Because the topper remains connected, users don’t need to find a separate place to set it down.
The container also features a built-in memo pad slot for noting storage dates or leaving messages, while colorful silicone creates an airtight seal. Made from borosilicate glass, the base is suitable for oven, microwave and freezer use. The lid is made of Ecozen bioplastic, which the company describes as nontoxic and BPA-free.
The Tap Up Box carries a suggested retail price of $13.99 and is scheduled to be available on May 31 of this year.
Object Corp. will feature the Tap Up Box at The Inspired Home Show 2026.
