Lasko has expanded its Misto collection with the launch of a 44-inch Outdoor Misting Tower Fan at Costco.
The misting fan is designed to make outdoor spaces feel up to 20°F cooler than the surrounding air with a fine mist distributed through three nozzles, customizable with four fan speeds and louvered oscillation for precise coverage, said Lasko. It can ease the effects of dry heat by adding moisture to the air, and the the fan’s mist and cool breeze also can deter insects and pests without sprays or chemicals, according to the company. The Misto fan also connects directly to a hose.
“The new Misto Tower Fan is the ultimate outdoor comfort companion, ideal for patios, decks, porches and more,” said Brian Schaadt, business unit director of fans at Lasko Products. “We engineered this fan to combine the cooling power of mist with the convenience and reliability consumers expect from Lasko, delivering instant heat relief and offering a versatile solution ideal for all outdoor moments.”
The Misto is UV and weather resistant and has a heavy-duty base for stability. It also includes a 7.5-foot water hose, a 10-foot cord with an inline GFCI and a 3-prong grounded plug for protection against electric shocks.
