T-fal has released the Unlimited Collection, which the company claims is the “longest-lasting non-stick in the USA.”
T-fal reported that durability claim is based on abrasion and non-stick external testing versus the top ten non-stick aluminum competitor pans, excluding hard anodized, under $29.99. T-fal said it also simulated up to 12 years of usage based on 48,000 abrasion cycles and an average consumer use of five times per week.
The Unlimited Collection is made from a coating free of PFOA, cadmium and lead. It has an even heat base designed to prevent hotspots, a Thermo-Spot that turns red to indicate when the pan is preheated and is oven-safe up to 500°F.
