Kuhn Rikon has won the 2021 Good Housekeeping Sustainable Innovation Award for its line of New Life skillets made from recycled materials.

The New Life Frying Pans are non-stick cookware made from 100% recycled metals, according to Kuhn Rikon. Designed to create a smaller carbon footprint, the pans are made using up to 95% less energy than unrecycled cookware. The recycled metals are blended to create a pan that is made to be 5x harder than pure aluminum, according to Kuhn Rikon. New Life Frying Pans contain no PFOAs, NMPs or SVHCs and are suitable for all cooktops including induction.

Good Housekeeping is a trusted voice in the kitchenware industry, with a proven track record of recognition for companies that are moving the needle on consumer-facing sustainability initiatives, said Kuhn Rikon Corp. President Mark Adkison. “We are proud to be the recipients of a Good Housekeeping Sustainability Award.”
