Circulon Debuts SteelShield Cookware

Circulon, a Meyer Corporation brand, announced two collections that use the new Circulon SteelShield Technology.

-Circulon SteelShield Technology was designed to bring the strength and beauty of steel cookware with a nonstick coating that lasts. The cooking surface starts with a PFOA-free nonstick covered with raised circles of steel made to be scratch-free, easy to clean and durable.

The two collections featuring SteelShield Technology are the C Series and S Series, which share similar design and performance features. Both have ergonomic handles made of hollow cast stainless steel and tempered glass lids. They are dishwasher safe, work on all cooktops, including induction, and are oven safe up to 500F.

The C Series has tri-ply construction with a core of aluminum between the SteelShield nonstick cooking surface and stainless steel exterior. The SteelShield nonstick extends from the base up the sides for more coverage. The C Series is offered in a 10-piece Set; a Twin Pack Skillet Set: 8.5″ and 10″ Open Frying Pans;, a 12.5″ Open Frying Pan; a 2 Qt. Covered Saucepan; a 3.5 Qt Covered Chef Pan with Stainless Steel Scraping Spoon; a 5 Qt. Covered Saute Pan with Helper Handle; a 12.5″ Open Stir Fry with Helper Handle; and a 14″ Covered Wok with Clear Lid. The items range in retail price from from $69.99-$399.99.

The S Series features a brushed stainless steel exterior with an aluminum base covered in stainless steel. The SteelShield surface fully covers the inside base. The S Series is offered in a 10-Piece Set; a Twin Pack Set: 8″ and 10.25″ Open Frying Pans; a 12″ Covered Frying Pan; 4 Qt. Covered Saucepot; a7.5 Qt. Covered Stockpot; a 9.5″ Open Frying Pan with 13″ Turner; and a 5 Qt. Saute with Helper Handle. The items range in retail price from $49.99-$279.99.
