As it builds beyond its line-up of German steel knives, Hammer Stahl is showcasing the new Damascus Series at The Inspired Home Show.
With its Damascus-style design, Hammer Stahl asserts the new collection is made from 67-layer Japanese stainless steel and slices and dices to high standards. The 15-degree blades, traditional in Japanese cutlery, have exceptional hardness and maintain their sharp edges longer due to the design and fusing of the alloys, according to the company.
The Damascus Series includes four products each designed to help tackle any type of kitchen project: a 9-inch chef’s knife, a 7-inch Nakiri knife, a 10-inch slicer and a 5-inch utility knife.
“This new line is an evolution of the Hammer Stahl brand,” stated Bobby Griggs, Hammer Stahl vp. “We have been making high-quality German knives for decades, and we are excited to translate this quality and durability into the Japanese knife segment. And, we’ve worked hard to ensure these are as beautiful as they are durable.”
