Ember Technologies has launched the Ember Mug 3, the third generation of its flagship mug, featuring several customer-requested updates.
Users can now adjust drinking temperature directly from the mug without opening the Ember app. The Mug 3 is top-rack dishwasher-safe, and every mug now includes a sipping lid that extends battery life.

The Mug 3 lets users set the temperature on the mug itself or in the Ember app. Users can press the power button at the bottom of the mug to cycle through five temperature settings in five-degree increments, from 125 to 145 degrees Fahrenheit. The onboard temperature setting syncs with the Ember app.
The new mug retains the same stainless steel and ceramic-reinforced exterior and interior coating as previous Ember mugs. Each Mug 3 also includes a sliding lid to help prevent spills and maintain a selected drinking temperature for up to three hours on a single charge.
The Mug 3 comes in 10- and 14-ounce sizes. The 10-ounce model retails for $129 in black, white and a new stainless finish, while the 14-ounce model ($149) comes in eight color options, including black, sage green, lavender, powder blue, salt blue, sandstone, white and matcha green.
The Ember Mug 3 is available now at Ember.com and Target’s stores and website. Amazon availability is scheduled for October.
