Ecovacs has released the Deebot T20 Omni, a hybrid robot vacuum and mop that offers mop lifting capabilities with hot water washing and drying technology.

Peter Cao, General Manager of Ecovacs Americas, said, “Our goal with this Deebot was to enhance the mopping experience and overall cleaning efficiency for our users. By combining the 131℉ Hot Water Mop washing technology, the Ozmo Turbo 2.0 mopping system, and the Omni station with its hot-air drying and auto-emptying capabilities, we have revolutionized the way people clean their homes. With the T20 Omni, users can enjoy a deeper, more thorough, and, most importantly, maintenance-free clean.”

The Deebot T20 Omni is capable of simultaneously vacuuming and mopping to eliminate the need for multiple cleaning devices. According to the company, the T20 Omni is able to lift its mop higher than other robots on the market so that it won’t drag its wet cloth over carpets. The mopping plates can lift and pause rotation while increasing suction power to transition from hard floor to soft carpeting. The rubber brush has spiraling blades and a 6000Pa suction power to capture debris and dust from carpets and hard floors while avoiding hair tangles.

The Omni system’s Ozmo Turbo 2.0 Rotating Mop System and a water temperature set to 131℉ remove oil and dirt and improve the potency of the cleaning solution for a better clean, according to Ecovacs. The hot air dryer is specifically designed to thoroughly dry mopping pads to prevent bacteria and odors and maintain quality and cleanliness for the next use. The fully sealed Omni station auto-empties and stores dust and allergens for more than 60 days to provide months of maintenance-free cleaning.

The Deebot T20 Omni is equipped with TrueMapping 2.0, a LiDAR-based technology seen in self-driving cars made to deliver 2-times greater range and 4-times greater accuracy when scanning the home and generating paths, said Ecovacs. It is able to avoid household objects, navigating the home while avoiding collisions, jamming and entanglement.

The Deebot has voice control functionality and is smart home compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant, Siri Shortcuts and the Ecovacs app.

Deebot T20 Omni is available for purchase June 13 on Ecovacs.com, Amazon and Best Buy for $1,099.
