Wahl hair clippers are featured in the film “National Champions,” which debuted in theaters this week.
“National Champions,” from STXfilms, centers on a college football team’s players’ strike in the days leading to the national championship game. The film stars J. K. Simmons and Alexander Ludwig, and it features appearances NFL stars Russell Wilson and Malcolm Jenkins.
The Wahl Elite Pro clipper is used by the team barbers in the film. During the national premieres in 21 locations throughout the U.S., two viewers at each location will be awarded the Wahl Elite Pro clipper.
“Whether it is amateur, college, or professional sports, team haircutting can be a time for bonding among the athletes,” said Steve Yde, division vice president for Wahl. “We see this as an opportunity to further our connection with college sports teams and athletes.
