Panasonic announced the release of the Automatic Bread Maker with pre-set programs designed for easy making of breads, doughs, sweets and gluten-free baked goods.
The Automatic Bread Maker (SD R2550) comes with a non-stick; ribbed bread pan that can hold and stretch dough; a measuring cup/spoon; a sourdough cup/starter spoon; and a quick-start guidebook with recipes and instructions. Users can select from three loaf sizes (medium, large, x-large) and three crust shades (light, medium, dark).
The bread maker features new manual setting modes — Dough Kneading Mode and Fermentation Mode — to replicate the kneading techniques of an artisan baker that can be customized to the recipe. The Double Temperature Sensor measures the room temperature and the internal temperature and adjusts how much time the dough needs to rise and rest in order to achieve properly risen bread. A Raisin and Nut Dispenser automatically distributes raisins, nuts and seeds into the pan at the best time.
The 20 pre-set programs include a variety of breads, doughs and sweets, including French bread, brioche, sourdough, jam and gluten-free bread, cake, pizza dough and pasta dough.
