Arbor investments, a Chicago-based private equity firm, has reacquired Bradshaw Home from Onex Corporation.

Arbor previously owned Bradshaw from 2008 to 2012, selling it to Onex in December 2012.  Bradshaw, with headquarters in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif, and offices in Marlborough, Mass, develops and markets kitchenware and cleaning products under such brands as GoodCook, Casabella, Evercare, Clorox, Mr. Clean and Dawn brands.

Financial terms of the purchase from ONCAP, the middle-market private equity platform of Onex, were not disclosed.

Bradshaw senior leadership, including Arthur Zambelli, CEO, and Rob Michelson, president and CCO, will continue in their operating roles, according to Arbor.

Michelson added: “Over the past 25 years we have seen consistent, accelerated growth, which has made us a market leader in many of the core kitchen and cleaning categories we do business in. Fueled by new energy, passion and financial resources from Arbor, we anticipate even more new and exciting opportunities ahead for us, our customers and our consumers.”

Arbor concentrates its investment activity in food, beverage and related companies in North America.

Arbor Chairman Gregory Purcell said Arbor’s initial partnership (with Bradshaw) 13 years ago resulted in one of the private equity firm’s most successful Fund II investments. “We’ve always had a high level of conviction for the platform,” Purcell said. “Clearly we have a love affair with this company and jumped at the chance to buy it back. We commend ONCAP for the job they’ve done to grow the business, and we appreciate
